![[ ]](http://i915.photobucket.com/albums/ac351/renegadearts/oldpost-2.png) | Mystlim Lake
Nestled on the Mystlim river which defines the border between grassland and the blistering head of the desert this small lake was formed ages ago when it over flowed it's banks. The grassland to the south is full of lush knee high grasses; the occasional tree or shrub breaks the illusion that you are standing in a sea of green.

![[ ]](http://i915.photobucket.com/albums/ac351/renegadearts/oldpost-2.png) | Nephim
The western most of the oasises of the Bassai Desert Nephim's northern edge provides shelter from the blistering sun with a thick grove of palm trees. The small ground water fed lake that allows this little paradise in hell to exist is surrounded by a small grassland; though the grasses are course they allow a herd to survive in an otherwise arid region.

The central oasis of Bassai also holds the bragging rights of being the largest of the three. Its western edge is covered with palms while its south has a grassland that stretches well past the boarders of the watering hole. However it provides ample food and water for those who live within its boarders. To its north is a cave, the entrance blocked off by several large boulders; perhaps this is for the best as many horrible tales have been circulated about it.

![[ ]](http://i915.photobucket.com/albums/ac351/renegadearts/oldpost-2.png) | Hiiban
The eastern oasis is completely surrounded by fruit baring trees. This fruit while small is incredibly sweet and is claimed to be the best thing one will ever taste. Beneath the trees short grasses grow; however inhabitants prefer to use it as bedding. Due to the heavy coverage around the watering hole Hiiban is quite a bit cooler then the surrounding area, a blessing really.

![[ ]](http://i915.photobucket.com/albums/ac351/renegadearts/oldpost-2.png) | Arimathia
Arimathia is a mighty meadow that slowly dries out as it approaches the borders of the Bassai desert. Peppering the grassland is a large assortment of wild flowers which fill the air with blissful scents with each passing breeze. Mystlim River cuts through the middle of the land, leading those who would follow it to the cliffs that make the north eastern edge of Anarthawn. Mystlim thunders over the edge to finally crash down into the ocean.

![[ ]](http://i915.photobucket.com/albums/ac351/renegadearts/oldpost-2.png) | Nahua Plains
Twin rivers Astlan and Aubin, which split off the Abere, divide the Nahua Plains into three segments as they make their way to the cliffs that separate the bulk of Anarthawn from the sea. Each of the plains is covered in thick tall grasses, and occasional scatterings of short trees. However only the central section has the large cluster of berry bushes. These delicious berries are a deep red in shade and very rich, eating too many can result in quite the belly ache.

![[ ]](http://i915.photobucket.com/albums/ac351/renegadearts/oldpost-2.png) | Masarnir Coast
The mighty cliffs and plains of Anarthawn slowly give away to an expansive beach, this particular stretch of it being covered by pale sands and seashells. The ocean waters are only reach up to the barrel of your average fifteen hands high equine. Bright tropical fish swim easily within these shallow waters darting between the legs of those who go wading. Be mindful though as you travel further from the shore; at twenty yards out there is a steep drop off. In the dark waters sharks circle menacingly, fins visible on the horizon.

![[ ]](http://i915.photobucket.com/albums/ac351/renegadearts/oldpost-2.png) | Mithali
Covering most of the southern border of Mithali is the lake Nelapsi. It is a wide body of water, stretching into Koschiej, and deep; it's center a dark almost black blue green. From its north eastern end the river Sybaris begins, cutting its way through the short stretch of meadow that rests between the lake and the coastline. the Sybris Delta is full of reeds and other plants you would expect to spring up in the proximity of brackish water. Many rogue bands have been said to roam the plains north of Nelapsi, so watch yourself if you do not wish to be whisked away by one.

![[ ]](http://i915.photobucket.com/albums/ac351/renegadearts/oldpost-2.png) | Cenote Isle
While small in comparision to the mainland of Anarthawn, Cenote is actually a fairly large island. A small mass of water too large to be a pond and too small to be a lake is found at the northern edge of the island, the richest grass and some small bushes of wild berries grow along its shores. The bulk of the Cenote is covered in lush tropical forests there is actually very little grassland and even less coastline. It received its name from the many cenotes, or small sinkholes that lead to ground water, hidden within the forest.

![[ ]](http://i915.photobucket.com/albums/ac351/renegadearts/oldpost-2.png) | Keris
Larger then Cenote, Keris also boasts more grassland, providing ample grazing space for those living upon the island. The small forest located on the southern end of the beach encircled island provides cover from the elements when needed. A large coral reef rests off the south coast, providing many a nook and crevice for the wandering soul to explore and many different species of fish to find..

![[ ]](http://i915.photobucket.com/albums/ac351/renegadearts/oldpost-2.png) | Gaewode
Protected to the east by the Guided Path, the lake Zalas is only accessible from the other three cardinal directions. Fed by the river Iman which branches of the Abere the water always remains clean and fresh. Its southern edge guarded by a deep maze like forest, named Gaewode, only navigable by those who live within its borders. To the south west a rich meadow rolls up and down the hills that make up the lowlands of the western mountain range bordering Anarthawn.

![[ ]](http://i915.photobucket.com/albums/ac351/renegadearts/oldpost-2.png) | Koschiej
The Northern border of Koshchiej is broken by the other half of the deep water lake Nelapsi, while its south western corner is covered in a forest. The rest of the vast territory is grassland up until the small span of coastline that makes up its eastern boarder. Dividing the land in half is the river Eriele, as it makes its way toward Kandam. The forest of Koschiej is home to a strange species that resembles a winged tiger. However this mammal is actually a herbivore and spends its time gliding from tree to tree eating the fruits and berries found within their branches.

![[ ]](http://i915.photobucket.com/albums/ac351/renegadearts/oldpost-2.png) | Kandam
Located in the foot hills of the southern mountain range that makes up the border of Anarthawn, Kandam is heavily forested. The ancient trees reach high into the sky as thick vines dangle from their branches easily disguising the large snakes that make the forest their home from the untrained eye. Eriele cuts in from the north, winding around the edge of the forest before cutting along the base of the mountains to the southern cliffs were it tumbles into the sea. To the east of Eriele is a grassland, prime for grazing if you are brave enough to risk running into one of the rogue bands said to wander the plains.

![[ ]](http://i915.photobucket.com/albums/ac351/renegadearts/oldpost-2.png) | Riyestan
Largest of the four coastal islands by far Riyestan boasts a unique beach. The sand is in reality the remains of thousands upon thousands of crushed seashells. While a good deal of the island is made up by this beach there is also a small grassland and a decently sized forest that frame the two small lakes of Riyestan. The bottom of the smaller lake is line with crystal formations of varying sizes and colors. The most notable aspect of the island is the strange flowers hang from the vines that creep up the trees, during the day they seem to be nothing more then a dull pink; however night is when they come alive, glowing white from an unknown energy source. Because of these flowers the woods are often called Forest of the Fae.

![[ ]](http://i915.photobucket.com/albums/ac351/renegadearts/oldpost-2.png) | Argyerse
The smallest of the islands is best known for not its forest but what lays within it. The forest floor is thickly covered with a strange silver fern that leaves silver spores on the legs of those who walk through them . Spores remain for only a day before falling off and dying. It is these silver ferns that give Argyerse its other name; The Silver Isle. Forest aside Argyese also has a vast grassland covering most of its mass, however mysterious giant round stones are scattered about it.

![[ ]](http://i915.photobucket.com/albums/ac351/renegadearts/oldpost-2.png) | Samseon Plains
Along the western range of mountians is a large meadow, the land starts hilly but eventually levels out into even terrain. The grassland is divided in half by the Abere River as it makes its way through Anarthawn to the sea. As you move closer to the river the ground grows softer and softer until it becomes marshland. Be wary of where you tread upon the rivers edge, you always run the risk of breaking a limb or falling prey to a water predator.

![[ ]](http://i915.photobucket.com/albums/ac351/renegadearts/oldpost-2.png) | Dilmun Meadow
Just to the north of Samseon are the grass lands of Dilmun. The territory is cut in half by the Mystlim river as it leaves the western mountain range. However unlike the Samseon the land remains solid and small scattering of trees exist. Dilmun's grasses dry out as you approach the deserts of Reynes, but the eventual sparseness is not the leading danger in this land; no it is the wild boars that seem to thrive on the roots which grown on the fine line between grassland and desert. Highly territorial these beasts, which travel in groups of up to 10 individuals, will charge any who cross their paths attempting to gore them with their large tusks.

![[ ]](http://i915.photobucket.com/albums/ac351/renegadearts/oldpost-2.png) | Fensal Marsh
Here within the marshy lands of Fensal the Iman river splits from the main path of the Abere and winds its way to the lake Zalas. The ground is spongy most of the year, only hardening during the winter making traveling tedious as one must move slowly and judge their steps least they step into a sink hole or a peat bog. Asides from these immediate dangers there are others in the form of crocodiles that lurk in the waters and large spotted felines that crawl through the tall marsh grasses. The overwhelming amount of carnivores makes Fensal Marsh a dangerous place; vary few would dare to linger long, and even less would seek to attempt to live within its borders.

![[ ]](http://i915.photobucket.com/albums/ac351/renegadearts/oldpost-2.png) | Iffingar
Nothing more then a narrow strip of flat grassland on the northern shore of the Abere, Iffingar separates the sacred lands of Eden from the plains of Reynes. The land is oddly peaceful, almost as if the predators avoid it. There are however large flocks of birds that soar overhead occasionally swooping down to snatch fish from the Abere, or diving down into the grasses to pick at the seeds and hunt for worms. The calls of these birds fill the air, earning Iffingar the nickname of The Singing Shore.

![[ ]](http://i915.photobucket.com/albums/ac351/renegadearts/oldpost-2.png) | Zhihion
Reaching to the northern shore of the Zalas lake in Gaewode, Zhihion is a small meadow of lush blue grasses and always seem to glisten from dew. You can feel the moisture tickling and chilling your legs as you move through the meadow. At night a thick hock high mist rolls over the land, making the nights unusually cold, even during the warmest times of the year.
